Design and Feasibility Analysis for the SLA
ATLAS ECONOMICS
Purdon was engaged by Atlas Economics to provide statutory and strategic planning advice as part of a design and feasibility investigation across multiple precincts. Our work supported the assessment of potential development outcomes to inform future land release and delivery considerations.
The scope included a review of the applicable planning framework, including the Territory Plan and relevant policy settings, to identify key opportunities, constraints and risks associated with each site. Advice was provided on land use permissibility, development controls, and potential approval pathways, including consideration of Development Applications, lease variations and other statutory processes.
Purdon’s input informed the development of realistic and deliverable development scenarios, ensuring alignment between planning requirements, urban design outcomes and feasibility considerations. This included identifying matters that may impact staging, timing, and implementation, as well as highlighting key approval risks and dependencies.
The services were delivered in collaboration with the broader consultant team to support the preparation of integrated feasibility outcomes, providing a robust evidence base to inform government decision-making regarding site release, development potential and delivery strategy.
