ATTRACTIVE BUILDING GROUP (ABG)

Purdon was engaged to provide town planning, community consultation, and strategic stakeholder engagement for ABG’s ambitious Belconnen Lakeshore development, which spans the Circus Sites Precinct and the Former Belconnen Water Police site at Emu Inlet Waterfront. This transformative project aims to redefine the Belconnen Town Centre into a dynamic, mixed-use precinct catering to all age groups.

Given the significance of the development, Purdon played a crucial role in presenting the project to the National Capital Design Review Panel (NCDRP) on three occasions as part of the RFT engagement strategy. Purdon also took responsibility for key aspects of the development process, including design review, managing direct sale applications due to encroachments into Territory-owned land, and overseeing DA submission and monitoring.

Their ongoing involvement was vital in aligning the project with the requirements of nearby ACT Government transport, education, and office infrastructure.
