DOWSE PROJECTS ON BEHALF OF MARYMEAD CATHOLIC CARE
Purdon prepared the development application for a 54-dwelling community housing project in Curtin, including a boundary realignment and Crown Lease variation to enable affordable rental housing. Delivered in partnership with Curtin Parish and Marymead Catholic Care, the proposal supports essential workers and low-to-moderate income households.
The five-storey development includes a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, along with shared spaces such as a ground floor plaza, rooftop communal area, and on-site caretaker residence. The design balances increased density with strong amenity, landscaping, and environmental outcomes.
Purdon also led pre-DA community consultation to help inform the proposal and respond to local feedback.
