Development Control Plan - North-West Urban Release Area (Dubbo)

Dubbo Regional Council has engaged Delos Delta to prepare a Development Control Plan (DCP) for R1 General Residential Land in the North-West Urban Release Area. This includes detailed planning controls for a range of low, medium and high-density housing typologies, and the subdivision of land, for the R1 General Residential Land, with a focus on.
The DCP is designed to provide and encourage housing choice and flexibility to meet the region's housing needs into the future. The controls must be easily understood, offer more flexibility and ease of use than SEPP pathways, and be consistent with the vision of the master plan, Stage 1 DCP, planning proposal and infrastructure contributions plan.
The North-West Urban Release Area is located approximately 2km north-west of the Dubbo CBD and is anticipated to accommodate 4,500 - 5,500 residential dwellings and a population of 12,500 - 15,500.
