Purdon was engaged by TP Dynamics for development of Garema Place Hotel. The site location is the Garema Arcade building at 60-68 and 70 Bunda Street, between Garema Place and Bunda Street, opposite the Canberra Centre.
The Garema Place Hotel is a 10-storey mixed-use hotel building on a 1500sqm site. It contains 3 basement car park levels and amenities comprising of around 238 hotel rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, a wellness centre, function rooms and ballrooms.
The development will also feature a centre skylight atrium with an acrylic-bottomed pool and multiple outdoor garden terraces on the top levels. Planning works included assistance with DAs, lease variations, amendments and direct sale.
