Pre-Development Application Community Consultation Strathnairn/ACT School site Estate Development Plan
Ginninderry are preparing to submit an Estate Development Plan (EDP) Development Application (DA) which will create a site for the future ACT School, located on Pro Hart Avenue, Strathnairn.
The DA will be for the creation of a Community Facility zoned block in the Territory Plan and associated infrastructure to accommodate this future use, including services and planning considerations such as traffic, parking, bushfire management etc. The proposed use is consistent with the West Belconnen Concept Plan.
At this stage, the details of the school design are not finalised and the built form itself does not from part of this consultation process or DA submission. This will be done at a later date.
Purdon Planning will be hosting an online information session on Thursday 24th February 2022 between 5.30pm – 6.30pm, where more details of the proposal will be addressed and provide opportunities for comments and feedback.

Pre-DA consultation will close on Friday 4th March 2022.
Once the DA is lodged with Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate, a further opportunity to comment on the DA will be provided through the EPSDD public notification process.
